Jarvis

Jarvis is a way to talk to Studio by voice, on a screen of its own. In the center sits the orb, which shows whether Jarvis is Inactive, Listening, Thinking, or Speaking. Around it, panels follow the work.

  • To have a project always open in Jarvis, choose Jarvis under Home screen in Settings.
  • To take a conversation there, use Open in Jarvis in the conversation’s menu.

Click the orb to talk, or type in the Type or talk to Jarvis box. With a reply in progress, Queue keeps your next request. To talk by voice, Studio may ask you to install one more program the first time.

When the conversation needs you, Jarvis tells you (for example, I need your approval). To answer a question or see everything in detail, use Open conversation.

Running sessions, Transcript, Routines (next and last), Changed files, and Models and accounts. Each panel can be moved or hidden.

In Customize, choose the orb’s design and color, the background, the HUD, the display name, and which panels appear. Under voice, turn on Reply out loud, choose the voice and speed, and play a sample.

To speak out loud, the reply text is sent to Microsoft’s voice service (the same one Edge uses).
