Share from other apps
From your phone’s share menu, you can send photos and documents from other apps (gallery, file manager, email) straight to SquadOS, without saving and attaching them again.
How to share
Section titled “How to share”- In the other app, tap share and choose SquadOS.
- On the Share screen, search by name and choose the destination: a room, a direct conversation, or an agent.
- The files are added as attachments to the chosen conversation. Write a message if you want, and send it.
When you choose an agent, the app opens a new conversation with it. Archived rooms are not offered as destinations.
What you can share
Section titled “What you can share”- Images: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, and HEIC/HEIF (HEIC becomes JPEG before upload).
- Documents: PDF, TXT, Markdown, CSV, Word (DOC, DOCX), and Excel (XLS, XLSX).
- Up to 5 files at a time; documents up to 4 MB.
If a file cannot go, the screen says how many were left out and why (type not accepted, over the file count limit, or over 4 MB). Audio is not accepted here; to send a voice note, record it inside the conversation.
