Your personal settings
SquadOS has two kinds of settings: the organization’s (which apply to everyone) and yours, which follow you into any organization you open. This page is about yours.
They all live in the same place: your avatar menu, top right, then Settings — under the Personal settings category.
Profile
Section titled “Profile”/settings/profile — your login details, in three tabs.
Information
Section titled “Information”
- Full name — this is how colleagues see you: the author of a message in a room, the owner of a conversation, whoever left a comment. After editing, click Save changes; everyone else sees it right away.
- Email — read-only. It’s your login and the address that receives invitations. To change it, talk to support.
Password
Section titled “Password”
- Enter your current password.
- Enter the new password (at least 6 characters).
- Repeat it in Confirm new password.
- Click Change password.
SquadOS re-authenticates you with the current password before applying the change. If the current password is wrong, the field shows the error and nothing changes.
Forgot your password? Sign out and use the Forgot password link on the login screen to get a reset email.
Close account
Section titled “Close account”
Closing your account removes your access to SquadOS. What you did inside organizations stays with them — conversations, agents, files, and messages are not deleted along with you; they simply stop pointing at you and start showing up as Deleted user.
Closing your account from this screen is rolling out gradually. Until it reaches you, the tab shows Not available here yet and the way through is to talk to support. Once it’s enabled, the tab offers the closing button and walks you through whatever has to be settled first — mainly the organizations you own.

Preferences
Section titled “Preferences”/settings/preferences — how SquadOS behaves for you.
Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”Dark mode switches between the light and dark themes. It’s the same switch as the icon at the top of the screen — change it in one place and the other follows. The choice is stored in the browser, not in your account: sign in from another computer and SquadOS starts by following your operating system’s theme.
Screen guides
Section titled “Screen guides”The purple banners at the top of each screen, explaining in a few lines what it’s for, can be dismissed one by one with the ×. If you closed one by accident — or want to see them again after a while — the Reset guides button brings them all back at once. Dismissals are stored in the browser too.
