Answers grounded in your company knowledge.
Upload policies, FAQs, catalogs, lessons, spreadsheets, and website pages. The content is indexed so the agent can search before answering.
Create my knowledge baseWhat changes in the operation
The difference between a useful agent and a generic one is the source it searches. The Knowledge Base gathers the documents that define your operation: policies, FAQs, course materials, catalogs, contracts, website pages, and internal instructions. When the tool is active, the agent searches that content before formulating the answer, reducing improvisation and keeping the conversation aligned with what your company actually knows.
Common files, no special preparation
Upload PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, TXT, JSON, and Markdown up to 10 MB. SquadOS processes and indexes the file automatically.
Loose text and website pages
Paste instructions directly or point a URL for the crawler to scan in-scope pages. Re-sync manually or on a schedule.
Semantic search before the answer
After upload or crawl, the content is converted into embeddings. The agent finds relevant passages by meaning, not only by keyword.
Separate bases by team or product
Keep support, sales, courses, or HR in different bases and connect each agent only to the content it should access.
How it works
You organize the source. The agent searches before answering.
Create the base for the topic
Separate a base by product, cohort, team, or area. Then add the relevant files, text, or URLs.
The content becomes searchable source material
SquadOS processes each item, creates embeddings, and prepares the semantic search the agent will use during the conversation.
Connect it to the right agent
Enable the “Consult Knowledge Base” tool and select the base. From then on, the agent searches for context before answering.
Frequently asked questions
-
What file formats are supported?
PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, TXT, JSON, and Markdown, with a maximum size of 10 MB per file.
-
Can I keep my website content always up to date in the base?
Yes. The crawler can automatically re-sync content from a URL on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule — or you can trigger a re-sync manually at any time.
-
Can I have different bases for different agents?
Yes. You can create as many bases as you like and connect each one only to the relevant agents. A support agent can access the FAQ base, while a sales agent accesses the product catalog.
-
Does the knowledge base work with AutoLearn?
Yes, and it's a requirement. AutoLearn only works when the "Consult Knowledge Base" tool is active on the agent with at least one base selected. Gaps detected by AutoLearn are added directly to the base.
